Hendrix Frankenreiter is a 22-year-old singer-songwriter, guitarist, and surfer from Hawaii. Born into a creative family, Hendrix spent his childhood traveling the globe — absorbing the sounds, landscapes, and cultures of the world around him — all while being shaped by a deep, lifelong immersion in nature, surf culture, and music.

That upbringing didn't just inform his perspective; it became the foundation of everything he creates. When he's not making music or on the road, he's back on Kauai — surfing, fishing, and hiking — staying rooted in the natural world that continues to fuel his art.

Those wide-ranging experiences have given Hendrix a writing voice that feels genuinely unforced — music that doesn't try to be anything other than exactly what it is. Honest, instinctive, and alive in the moment it was made.

A skilled multi-instrumentalist, Hendrix played guitar and many of the instruments on his debut recordings himself — bringing a hands-on authenticity to the sound that reflects both his musical depth and his DIY spirit.

Now, after spending the last two years quietly building a body of work, Hendrix is ready to bring that sound to the masses. Earlier this year, he made his festival debut at BeachLife Festival, setting the stage for what’s to come. Signing to Severance Records/Big Loud Rock, Hendrix kicks off this defining new chapter with a series of captivating releases, starting with “Wanna Go.”
